Camelot explores the life and times of King Arthur Pendragon and his court of the round table. Arthurian legend and lore has always been a fascination of mine so this project was close to my heart. One of the prominent themes of this story is the importance of the forest as is the same for the old tales before the musical. With this in mind, I set out to design a world based around a great tree symbolizing Merlin, and like Merlin, the tree had a glow of magic and splendor to it. I set out to make this set as true to the original stories as I could, down to the shape of the bricks in the castle.
